No gaming experience or preparation needed

Our games are designed for all groups so just come ready to have fun! While there are no formal age-limits, we have given guidance on difficulty and age where relevant.

To make a booking you must first choose your location then the game you wish to play. Click the book now button and you will be taken to choose your players, date and time. Our Gameboxes hold a maximum of 6 players so when making your booking our system will automatically reserve multiple game boxes to accommodate your group size.

Standard tickets can be refunded up to 48 hours in advance of the booking time. You can do this yourself via the manage my booking button on your confirmation email. For cancellations of bookings less than 48 hours away (or for tickets purchased within the 48 hour period), you will not be entitled to a refund or any compensation. We cannot issue refunds for non-arrivals.

Special packages relating to large groups; such as kids birthday parties, schools and other larger events have additional terms relating to cancellation and refunds. Please see the “parties & packages” tab.

Yes, we are happy for you to move or cancel your booking up to 48 hours in advance of your arrival time. To do this, simply hit the 'Manage My Booking' link found in your order confirmation. Once landed, you can choose a new time or date, or cancel should you wish.

Our pricing is based on a per person, per experience basis and will differ per location. To find pricing information, simply select your game, click 'book now' and explore the different ticket prices and options.

The price you may see displayed initially is a 'From £...' price. This is the lowest possible price you could book for. However, once you select a date and time the pricing can change depending on if the venues' peak pricing is in effect. Peak times are pre-determined by the venue's busiest periods, typically this will be during school holidays, weekends and busier weekday evenings, can can vary between our different venues.

If your group is below 6 you can pay for the additional members upon arrival or email our team to add on the additional players; if over the maximum per room we cannot guarantee availability for the additional guests. You can reduce players and receive a refund for the ticket up until 48 hours prior to your booking by emailing our team on [email protected]. We do not offer refunds for non arrivals.

No, you won’t be put in with another group. Bookings are private and you will only be joined in your Gamebox by those you booked to play alongside, even if there’s only 2 of you!

“Amazing time with a 14 year old”

We were a group of six; three adults and three children, and this was our first time trying it. I have very high standards, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded all of our expectations. Our children, who are 14 and not easily impressed, had an amazing time. We laughed a lot, worked together, and truly enjoyed the challenge. We played two games, Aliens Aptitude Test and Squid Games, both of which I highly recommend. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

“Challenging but very fun”

oday we played the Squid Game at immersive game. I love the show but didn’t really know what to expect. I visited with one other player and I have to say it was the MOST fun. It took a bit of getting used to the headset but the games were as per the show and quite challenging but also great. The man who welcomed us was very friendly and I would like to go back and try it again as soon as possible! Thank you.

“ Fun for the whole family ”

My husband and I took our six-year-old son to do the alien challenge and the floor is lava. We all enjoyed the games which were accessible to my son but still fun for us. Scores were given to us as a team which meant we were working together rather than competing with each other. It was a very enjoyable way to spend time together as a family and to do something active on a cold, wet day. We’ll definitely be back to try out some of the other games. A fantastic winter activity!

“ First time players”

First time of playing so had no idea what to expect - all explained and quite easy to follow once in the room. Can order drinks through the system. We played Angry Birds which was great fun, all games either in pairs or alone. We got quite competitive but was very enjoyable. Then on to Squid Games, this was brilliant, frustratingly fun, felt like we had a work out and quite tense in trying not to be killed. But loved it. Definitely worth a visit!

This was a fantastic experience! We played the Batman and the Floor is Lava, we came 11/105 for the floor is lava and 1/39 for the Batman game. This was out of all recent players. Uso was fantastic and really friendly showing us around and how to play. Will definitely be back!

“Brilliant”

I took my three godsons (age 7, 9 and 13) to Immersive Gamebox along with their parents, and we all had a BRILLIANT time! Izzy and the rest of the staff were exceedingly welcoming, patient, and great with the kids - they went out of their way to give good vibes. They helped us select age-appropriate games that suited our whole group excellently, and were a nice balance of whole-team collaboration plus the chance for individuals to have their own turns. We got through a whole hour with zero squabbles - amazing! Honestly, the entire experience was even better than I'd expected, and we're already planning to return.

“So FUN!”

“Daddy, this is sooo FUN!” RESULT! My 9-yr old daughter absolutely loved Alien Aptitude Test. I loved the 80’s arcade vibe and tunes AND that she loved it, too. The Manchester staff were incredibly accommodating, the challenges were just the right amount of challenging and the price made it a great value for the money. Definitely recommend it for families as I’ll be bringing my entire 4-man roster back to test our wits, agility and teamwork.
